PYO Minutes from Meeting on January 3rd, 2007

Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm
Secretaries Report: was read, Wayne B. made the motion to accept, Mark W. 2nd.
Treasurers Report: Dave S. made the motion to accept, Gary P. 2nd.
Scholarship Recipients: The scholarship Recipients were here to receive their money: Erin Ruatti is attending LaCrosse University and is majoring in Radiation Therapy Doug Oberman is attending St. Norberts University and is majoring in Accounting. Denise Hueser is also attending St. Norbert University and she is majoring in Business.
Basketball Tournaments & Basketball: The Girls are ready The Boys are almost ready Dave S. made the motion to raise the pay for the scorekeepers and the clock keepers to $4.00 per game. Al Halla 2nd.
There may be gym time changes for the month of February.
Baseball and Softball: We need to reserve the fields for our baseball and softball tournaments. Mike Zablocki will reserve the field, we will reserve the following: July 20th-22nd - Minor League (9 & 10 year olds) July 25th – 20th – Girls Softball Aug. 3rd – 5th - T-Ball and Little League (11 & 12 year olds) We will also reserve Aug. 9th & 10th tentatively if needed
Mike Zablocki also put an ad in the Pulaski News for baseball coaches.
Pat M. needs baseballs – he will need to get a hold of Mike Z. and Mike will take care of it.
There was discussion on what is happening with replacing the bleachers at Memorial Park. At this time we do not know of anything new. The safety of the bleachers is becoming an issue – the village was notified and said that if they are unsafe they will just take them out. We have talked about sharing the cost of the bleacher with the Girls Softball Assoc. and the Optimist we will need to discuss this further.
Todd Stiede did not attend the School Board meeting instead he and Kevin met with Mark Heck. Mark was going to talk with Dr. Martin to see if our donations to the schools and to the community would be enough to not have to pay the fees that were established.

At the next meeting we will be taking nominations for Officers – (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary).
