PYO Minutes from Meeting on June 6, 2007

 

Members in attendance: 

Renae Bliese, Diane Przybylski, Gary Przybylski, Rich Hunkins, Tina Watermelon, Todd Gutzman, Donna May, Jon Mathu, Cheri Lauritzen, Mitch Brabender, Jon Lemin, Wayne Kaczrowski, Wayne Butz, Steve Armstrong, Les Bauthazor, Gary Naparalla

 

Secretaries Report:  was read. Tina Watermelon made the motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Donna May.  Motion carried.

 

Treasurers Report:  was read. Diane Przybylski made a motion to accept, Wayne Butz seconded.  Motion carried.  ABVM payment and t-shirt payments made.

 

Summer Tournaments: Liquor license – done.  Beverage servers – Sheila McDermid, Joe Adamski, Jane Basten.  T-shirt vendor was discussed.  Agreed to just selling at the girls tournament.  Wayne to contact the vendor for a one year contract – girls only and to try to get 15% of profits.  Renae made a motion to cover this.  Todd G. seconded.  Motion carried. 

 

Park Clean Up – 5 pm, Monday, July 16.  NO PRACTICES that night.  All players and parents should participate.  PYO meeting to follow at Memorial Park.

 

Softball:  There is a second 14 and under team.  They will wear t-shirts for the first tournament.  Motion made by Wayne Butz to order 15 uniforms for the team to use as soon as they come in.  Also order 12 t-shirts and ask the parents to buy them if they want to.  Cheri L. seconded.  Motion carried.  Steve Unger will coach the second 12 and under team.  Concession leader: Renae Bliese.

 

Baseball:  Les Bauthazor is coaching 9 year olds.  Tina W. to take care of getting uniforms for them.

 

Football:  PACE is officially taking over the program.

Donna May asked about the information letter about PYO for all students.  It was decided the cost of a letter was not worth the value it would create.  The Pulaski News and use of the PACE booklet were alternatives discussed.  Steve Armstrong to contact Mark Heck about the deadlines for the Fall PACE book.  Steve also mentioned the web site update.  Information can be sent to Steve at ksarmstrong@gmail.com.

 

Motion made to adjourn by Rich H., Gary N. seconded.  Motion carried.  Next Meeting: Park clean up, July 16th 5 pm.  Meeting to follow at Memorial Park.
