PYO Minutes from Meeting on July 16, 2007

 

Members in attendance: 

Kevin Bliese, Renae Bliese, Diane Przybylski, Gary Przybylski, Rich Hunkins, Tina Watermelon, Jeff Anklam, Jon Mathu, Cheri Lauritzen, Mitch Brabender, Brad and Tracy Juedes, Keith and Lori Jensen, Jon LeminWayne Kaczrowski, Wayne Butz, Kathy and Steve Armstrong, Les Balthazor, Bruce Reinhard, Al Halla, Tom and Jennifer Folk, Jesse Lardnois.

 

Secretaries Report:  was read. Gary P. made the motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Steve A.  Motion carried. Treasurers Report:  was read. Tina W. made a motion to accept, Al H. seconded.  Motion carried.  Dean Distributing has provided the last of the 3 year donation from it’s golf outing.  Rich to provide the information to have the money transferred.  Motion made by Kevin B., seconded by Rich H. to spend up to $50 to put a thank you in the Pulaski News.

 

Summer Tournaments: Ready.  Portapotties ordered.  T-shirt vendor was discussed.  Motion made to sign a 5 year, 17% contract by Wayne  B.  Seconded by Jeff A.  Motion carried.  Will sell at boys and girls tournaments.  Wayne Butz mentioned that we need to consider splitting the girls tournament because it is getting so large.  We are turning away teams.  Will review at the Feb. Meeting.  Also a reminder that uniforms are for tournaments only.  A lot of boys and some girls have been seen in uniform for practices and around town.

 

Park Clean Up –  A huge thank you to everyone that helped out.  The work went fast and the park looks great.

 

Basketball – August meeting, coaches to submit their names for head coaches.  Votes if needed will be taken by the board in September.  Tournament dates are set for the Girls Tournament on Jan. 11,12,13 and Boys Jan. 18, 19, 20.  Tina W. made a motion and Steve A. seconded to put an ad (up to $100) in the Pulaski News for PYO basketball and also post on the web site and in the Pace book.  Steve A. agreed to get these done.

 

 

Other - The membership fee was discussed.  A guideline change was proposed to increase the fee from $10.  Will put on the Jan. agenda for bylaw changes.  Steve also mentioned the web site update.
