Update on Tri County and Village Discussions: A group of representatives from PYO met with the Tri County Optimists to discuss ways to work better together. Tri County is very willing to work with PYO and PGSA. It was recommended that a group of 2 members from each organization get together to develop a plan for the Memorial Park improvements. Also, Tri County is willing to help us with budgeting, joint fundraisers, information on softball players, ranking, etc.
Bleacher Update: Baytech and MCL split the purchase of one unit. It is in place. $4000 is available from small donations for the next set. Price is currently identified as $10,200. Tri County would like the PYO to fund the remaining $6200. They would then reciprocate with a similar donation for park improvements next year. The vote was held on the motion to donate $4000 to the bleacher fund. 10 Yes votes, 13 No votes. Todd Stiede made a new motion to donate up to $4000 for bleachers to be matched by Tri County Optimists. Jill Davis seconded. Motion carried. This will be back to the Optimists and voted on at the November Meeting.
