Basketball – Tournaments are ready.  Awards have been ordered. Mitch Brabender proposed that we follow the Middle School guidelines for academics for 6-7-8 grade level.  Kevin Bliese proposed that to play on a PYO team, players must participate in the Middle School program or PBA.  No definitive action was taken on these proposals.  Commissioners are asked to keep up to date binders for their sports to improve consistency.  This applies to softball and baseball as well.

Softball and Baseball – Discussion on T-Ball.  Dates for tournaments are:  Minor League Baseball July 19 – 20;Girls Softball July 26-27; T-ball and Little League Aug. 2-3.  Need to order T-ball uniforms.  Need to inventory first.  Consider ordering T-shirts for the tops.  Discussed adding a second date for girls softball.  It was decided we couldn’t because we are already at our 20 fundraising event limit for tax exempt status.
