Memorial Park and Bleachers: Progress is being made. A group representing PGSA, Tri County and PYO will be meeting to develop a unified proposal for Memorial Park to take to the village. Group to present results at the April Meeting.
Basketball – A meeting was held with the Middle School regarding building use issues. Concerns were aired and several ideas for improving future use coordination were discussed including – opening up additional days at the high school, not scheduling the short practice on game days and using badges for access and identification. A motion was made by Renae B. to send the building use coordinators at Glenbrook and PCMS a thank you for all their hard work of a $25 gift certificate. Steve S. seconded, motion carried. Kevin B. agreed to pick these up and deliver. A comment was made that parents need to be more careful when picking up students at PCMS. Pulling up onto the sidewalk by the pool doors or waiting at the circle creates a hazard for students exiting the building and going to the parking lot. Please park properly and go in to pick up your child. Commissioners – were supposed to be elected in February. Given that this was missed, a proposal was made to extend the current commissioners (Diane Przybylski and Todd Gutzman) terms by one year. New commissioners will be elected in Feb. 2009. The standard agenda for February will be updated to include commissioner elections so it is not missed again.
Softball and Baseball – Commissioners – were supposed to be elected in August 2007. Given that this was missed, a proposal was made to extend the current commissioners (Wayne Butz and Mike Zablocki) terms by one year. New commissioners will be elected in August 2008. The standard agenda for August will be updated to include commissioner elections so it is not missed again.
