Donations:
Booster Club golf outing hole sponsorship was discussed. Mitch made a motion to take to vote, seconded by Wayne K. Vote was taken on the $100 sponsorship. Motion carried.
New Business:
A field reconditioning proposal was discussed. Current bid by McKeefry will cost each organization about $700. Motion by Al H. and seconded by Tina W. to donate up to $1500 to use with PGSA and Optimist matching funds to recondition 2 fields at Memorial Park with proper ball park surface materials. Some members were going to check out the scope of work in the bids and contact other suppliers. We want to make sure we are doing the appropriate level of work to create a good, long term surface vs doing just a short term fix. Vote in July.
Tressa suggested we buy a biowaste kit for use at the tournaments. Agreed, she will purchase for the PYO.
A 50/50 raffle was discussed for the tournaments. May need a special license. Could possibly use the Booster Club license. Agreed to do this at the tournaments.
Baseball, softball sign up in the Fall Pace book. Tina to work with Deb to get it into the book.
Motion made by Pat M. and seconded by Wayne K. to adjourn. Motion carried. Next meeting July 7 at 7:00 pm at Memorial Park – concession area. gdprzybylski@netnet.net
