PYO Minutes from Jan. 6, 2010

Sec Report was read: Kevin B. motion to accept, 2^nd by Wayne K., Motion carried.

Treasurers Report was read: $2000 for the 2009 Fitness Center payment has been paid.  Motion by Tina W., 2^nd by Terry B.  Motion carried.

Baseball/Softball:  Tournaments:  Boys July 17-19 (9U, 10U, 13U), Girls July 22-25, Boys July 29-Aug. 1 (11U, 12U, 14U 7-8’s)

Tina will reserve the diamonds with the village for all tournaments.

Basketball:

PYO Nights at the Red Raiders Games: Boys – Feb. 5^th vs Southwest, Girls – Feb. 15^th vs Manitowac.Tim Sheedy made a motion to give the players a $2 coupon to use at the concession stand.  Terry Brockman seconded.  Motion Carried.

Tournaments are ready to go – good registration numbers.  We will deposit money from the tournaments over the weekend.  Diane to pick up bags and work out logistics with the bank.

New Business:  Computer for Treasurer – Tom R. made a motion to spend up to $500 for a laptop for the Treasurer, Kevin B. seconded.  Motion carried.

Motion by Paul F. and 2^nd by Keith J. to Adjourn  Motion carried.

Discussed the potential of PYO being the holding organization for Jr. Red Raider funds.  Will also discuss at Boosters and see what makes the most sense.  This need is due to changes in how school sports groups are required to hold and use funds.
