PYO Minutes from June 3, 2010

Members in attendance:  Gary Przybylski, Diane Przybylski, Rachel Johnson,  Wayne Kaczrowski,  Kevin Bliese, Mickey Lemin,  Nicole Kaczrowski, Todd Gutzman, Jeff Williquette, Dave Landers,  John Heinz, Jay Robaidek, Tom Rentmeester, Keith Jensen, Darren Laskowksi, Steve Armstrong.

Sec Report was read: Jay R.. motion to accept, 2^nd by Kevin B., Motion carried.

Treasurers Report was read: Motion by Rachel J., 2^nd by Tom R.  Motion carried.  We need the invoice for the soccer sponsorship.

Pulaski Community Athletic Facility:

Dave Landers presented the concept drawing for the outdoor sports facilities for Jerad Marsh.  The organization members are asked to look at the concept and provide input to Jerad for the facilities.  Jerad will plan to attend the July meeting to tell us more.

Baseball:  Dave Landers offered help to the PYO teams for skills development. Email him at his school email for requests for help.  Chris Vertz is running pitching clinics and the offensive and defensive skills training is being offered through the PACE summer program.  The web site needs some updates for our tournament.  Jon Lemin needs to be listed as the contact and the 7U tournament needs to be taken off.

Softball/Baseball: 

Park Clean Up will be held on Monday July 12 at 5:30.  All players and coaches should attend to help.  There are no practices or games allowed that night.  Nets over the bleachers was brought up as a concern.  The old nets do not work with the new bleachers.  The Friends of the Parks will be contacted to add this to the consideration list.  (Azco Nobel Park in Howard has nets that are supported off uprights mounted right on the fences).  Some of the players have been hitting balls against the new sponsorship signs.  This must stop – coaches and parents, please talk to your players about this.

New Business:

A donation has been given by the Briarton Game Club to the PYO.  A thank you will be sent to them.
